To stretch the calves, put one leg back and keep it straight. Press the heel against the floor. Keep your other leg bent in front of you. Use your front leg to support your body. Hold this position for 10 to 20 seconds, then switch legs and repeat. Perform this stretch slowly and gradually. Don't stretch too quickly and don't bounce.
If you can't get your heels to touch the floor, that's fine. Just press as far as you can without causing too much pain. Always remember to listen to your body and respect its boundaries.
Stretching is an essential part of any workout. In this post, I will demonstrate how to stretch the calf muscles in the pool. It is an easy-to-do stretching exercise. You won't need any equipment or complicated techniques.
Calf muscles are found in the back of your lower legs, just below your knees. These muscles are very important in the flexing of feet. Because feet are very active and almost always engaged, it is important to stretch the muscles that control them.
